(unofficial) low cats

One of the first things we noticed as we tried to get crops in the ground before fall (besides the fact that turning beds from pastureland is CRAZY hard by hand) was that our location was windy, and our beds were perfectly placed in the path of the neighbor hood herds of deer. I take classes from Neversink Farm and was so excited to see the low cat tunnels they’ve designed. They’re reusable, a great size to store, easy to set up, and were sold out for months. I tried - and continue to modify - a similar design for our tunnels. They’re not perfect, but these tunnels gave us more time in the field and prevented a side hustle - the all-you-can-eat salad bar for deer.
